He was a native of Franklin and the husband of Mrs. Dorothy Turner Cobb. He was a retired machine tender of Union Camp Corp. and a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Betty C. Taylor of Independence and Mrs. Susan C. Little of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Cobb Wade of Houston; a brother Raymond Joseph Cobb of Franklin; and four grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 4 p.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins and the Rev. Allen Melton. The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon D. Little of 417 Cresent Drive. Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
