Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. W.R. McCollum of Weber Memorial Baptist Church, Richmond. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cecil Porter, Ray Butler, Johnnie Carroll, Bobby Johnson, Kenneth Duffy, Roy Duke, Jack Denson and Earl Blankenship. Mrs. Cobb, 64, of 517 High St., died Thursday night in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of James Percy Cobb, Jr. and a daughter of William P. and Mrs. Avie R. Joyner Bobbitt. She was a member of Weber Memorial Baptist Church, Richmond. She was retired from Thalhimer’s Department Store, Richmond. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Pearl B. Gray and Mrs. Dora B. Duffy of Franklin and Mrs. Mattie B. Russell of Norfolk.
