Thomas E. Mabe. Burial will be in Polar Spring Cemetery with W.J.M. Holland and sons Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers will be Theo Darden, John Bunch, Walter L. Young, Sr., Herman Eley, Dr. E.L. Irving, Elliot Cobb, Jimmie Daughtrey and Harold Atkinson. Cobb, 59, died Tuesday morning in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of Mrs. Ethel Harcum Cobb and a son of James Percy and Mrs. Evie Gardner Cobb. He was a farmer and a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. Besides his widow, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Cobb Carr of Walters; two brothers, James Percy Cobb, Jr., of Richmond and Gardner E. Cobb of Franklin; four sisters, Mrs. John L. Eley, Jr., Mrs. Matthew Turner, and Mrs. Robert E.
