Franklin - James Percy, Jr. 64, a retired operator DuPont plant in Richmond, died Monday afternoon in his home in Richmond after a heart attack. He was the husband of Mrs. Maude Bobbitt Cobb and a son of James Percy Cobb Sr. and Mrs. Evie Gardner Cobb. A native of Southampton County, he lived in Richmond 30 years. He was a member of Werber Memorial Baptist Church, Richmond. Besides his widow, surviving are a brother, Gardner E. Cobb of Franklin, and four sisters, Mrs. John L. Eley, Jr., Mrs. Matthews Turner, and Mrs. Robert E. Johnson of Franklin, and Mrs. William Pope of Norfolk. The body was taken to W.J.M.
