Cobb Jr., died early today at her home near Courtland after an illness of several weeks. Graveside services will be conducted tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, by the Rev. C.W. Gibson, pastor of the Courtland Methodist Church. The body was taken to the W.J.M. Holland Funeral Home, Franklin. She was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and was a member of Courtland Methodist Church and the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Church. She was the daughter of the late James E. Westbrook and Mrs. Sarah McLemore Westbrook of Southampton County. She is survived by three sons, Edward W. Cobb of Courtland, and W.R.L. Cobb, III, and Martin W. Cobb of Newsoms; a brother, Hugh L. Westbrook of Franklin; and two grandchildren, W.R.L. Cobb, IV, of Austin, Texas, and Miss Kay Cobb of Newsoms.
