She was the widow of Charlie W. Cobb and a daughter of Joshua and Mrs. Elizabeth Joyner. She was a member of Sedley Baptist Church in Sedley. She is survived by a son, Ernest Cobb of Bayside; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Munford and Mrs. Clarence Story of Franklin and Mrs. Janie Deale and Mrs. Bennie Lee Riddick of Suffolk; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted at W.J.M. Holland Funeral Home Thursday by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, Jr., pastor of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and the Rev. C.L. Gatling, pastor of Sedley Baptist Church. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery in Sedley. Pallbearers were H.L. Story, John Hand, Lloyd Johnson, Paul Gerald, B.L. Riddick, Jr., and James Ivey.
