Herman Cobb, died Sunday morning, May 15, at the home in Capron of her daughter, Mrs. David H. Bell, following a long period of ill health. Mrs. Cobb was the daughter of the late James Marion and Pattie Beaman Story of Franklin, where she was born in 1885. Her grandfather, Elliott L. Story, was a teacher for 25 years, operating a private school in the county. She had made her home in Franklin until four years ago, when she moved to Capron to live with her daughter. She was an active member of High Street Methodist Church for many years. Besides her daughter she is survived by a son, Tony Cobb of Franklin; one brother, Dr. Beaman Story of Franklin; and three nephews and a niece. Funeral services for Mrs. Cobb were conducted at the grave in Poplar Spring Cemetery on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock by Rev. Elmer N. Hassell, pastor of High Street Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. Allen W. Linthicum, pastor of the Capron Methodist Church. The active pallbearers were Franklin Edwards, John C. Parker, W.C. Rawls of Ivor, Albert Beaman of Norfolk, Dr. J.J. Grizzard of Branchville, and J. Earl McGowan. Mary Edwards (STORY; Mrs. R.
