Bobby Tyson. W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, was in charge. Pallbearers were Edwin Cobb, Walter White Cobb, Gordon Cobb, Tommy Pittman, Sidney Williams, Ryland Brooks, Harwood Babb and Earl Briggs. Cobb, 86, died Tuesday in a nursing home in Ahoskie, N.C. A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Jesse L. and Mrs. Ida Vick Cobb and the husband of Mrs. Susie Williams Cobb. He was a member of United Methodist Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Edward L. Cobb of Courtland; and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Schwaller of Portsmouth and Mrs. C.H. Johnson of Zuni.
