F. COBB Mrs. A.F. Cobb, wife of the late A.F. Cobb of Ivor, died Sunday, May 3, after a short illness in the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.H. Rawls, in Richmond with whom she had made her home for the past 14 years. Mrs. Cobb was the daughter of the late James Neverson Joyner and Mrs. Mary Rebecca Cobb, and was born September 20, 1853. Her husband, a prominent citizen of this county, was Commissioner of Revenue for about 20 years. She was a faithful member of Ivor Baptist Church until she moved her membership to Ginter Park Baptist Church in Richmond. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. B.J. Crowder of Petersburg, Mrs. W.C. Rawls of Ivor and Mrs. R.H. Rawls of Richmond and a son, Thomas A. Cobb of Crewe, also a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Herman Cobb, of Franklin and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Ivor Cemetery Tuesday afternoon conducted by Dr. Rupert Coleman, the pastor of Ginter Park Baptist Church of Richmond, assisted by Rev. L.F. Callahan of the Ivor Methodist Church and Rev. N.F. Jacobs, pastor of Ivor Baptist Church. The hymns, "O Come Angel Band" and "Abide With Me," were sung by a selected choir. The casket was covered with a pall of white and lavender sweetpeas. The pallbearers were: L.C. Pulley, R.E. Stewart, G.C. Niblett, L.T. Saunders, W.T. Johnson, H.M. Rawls, W.P. Johnson and E.B.
