Cobb FRANKLIN - Thomas Ryland Cobb, 72, died this morning in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Antha Sadler Cobb, and son of the late Joseph Henry and Jane Vaughan Cobb. He was retired from Carolina Coach Co. and was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Antha Jean Ward of New York City; one sister, Mrs. Ann M. Cobb of Franklin; two grandchildren; and one great- grandchild. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Poplar Spring Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. Wright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
