A member of the Franklin Congregational Christian Church since childhood, Miss Jennie Beck was a daughter of the late Edward T. and Margaret Vaughan Cobb of Franklin. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Mamie Cobb Stephenson of Richmond, with whom she made her home for many years. Funeral rites were conducted in the Franklin Congregational Church on Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock by the pastor; Rev. Harvey L. Carnes, and Rev. J.E. McCauley, pastor of the Wakefield. Burial was in the family plot in Poplar Spring Cemetery, the pallbearers begin T.O. Atwill of Richmond, and Lawless Cobb, Earl S. Holland, John Holland, L.B. Norfleet and John C. Holland and Sons Funeral Home in Franklin, where it will lie in state until the funeral hour. Funeral service will be held from the Franklin Christian Church Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. Rev. Harvey L. Carnes, pastor of the Franklin Christian Church, and Rev. J.E. McCauley, pastor of the Wakefield Christian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin.
