He was a member of Franklin Masonic lodge 151. Survivors include his wife, Tillie Gatling Cobb; his mother, Margaret Whitley Cobb of Franklin; a daughter, Roberta C. Woolridge of Manassas, Va.; a stepdaughter, Cynthia K. Massie of Amherst, Va.,; a stepson, Thomas E. Kent of Pakistan; four sisters, Frances C. Roberts, Mary C. Blythe, Margaret C. Burgess and Fay C. Shelton, all of Franklin; and 11 grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Franklin by the Rev. Benn Duffy. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin. Ben Duffy. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, with Wright Funeral Home in charge. Cobb died Wednesday in a hospital. A native of Franklin, he was a member of Franklin Masonic Lodge 151 and was the husband of Tillie Gatling Cobb.
