Rev. Williams F. McMahan, pastor of the Capron United Methodist Church, officiated. Mrs. Chappelle, a Southampton County music teacher, died October 22. She was a daughter of Paul and Mrs. Susie Barham Drewry and the widow of John L. Chappelle. She was a member of LaCross United Methodist Church, LaCross. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. T.C. Lassiter of Windsor, N.C. and a brother, Army Brig. General G.H. Drewry of West Hartford, Conn. Pallbearers were Paul T. Lassiter, Thomas C. Lassiter Jr., Col. Guy H. Drewry Jr., William P. Drewry, James E. Atkins, Thomas M. Atkins, R.J. Dunn Jr. and Paul H. Kirkland. Helen (DREWRY; Mrs. John L.)
