ANNIE MAY RAIFORD COOK

   Mrs. Annie May* Raiford Cook, age 29, wife of Linwood Cook, died Sunday 
morning, March 24, at her home near Ivor. She is the daughter of Kennith* H. 
Raiford of Suffolk and the late Mrs. Maggie Stephenson Raiford.

   Beside her husband and father she is survived by three children and several 
half-sisters and half-brothers.

   Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. 
Rufus Corbitt*, pastor of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Cook Was a 
member. Interment was made in the family cemetery.

[*spelled this way in original- should read Kenneth and (likely) Corbett; 
 Annie's middle name appears variously as Mae or May]
