Lytle Buckingham. Burial was in Ivor Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Marsden Pulley, Bubba Presson, Merrell Carr, George Carr, Fenton Worrell, Jimmy Nash, Julian Phelps, and J.L. West. Mrs. Cook died Sunday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of James C. Cook. She was member of Ivor Baptist Church. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Sarah A. Kea and Mrs. Margaret Joyner of Ivor and Mrs. Lucy Britt of Wakefield; and two brothers, Jack E. Atkins of Ivor and Davis Atkins of Courtland.
