COGGSDALE Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Holland Coggsdale, 85, who died Sunday, March 17, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pearl Bracey, in Ivor after a long illness, were conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, with Rev. S.C. Burgess of Richmond officiating. Mrs. Coggsdale, a native* of the Story community near Courtland was the widow of James Ellis Coggsdale of Franklin. She was a member of the Courtland Baptist Church. In addition to Mrs. Bracey, she is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. Sadie Bryant and Mrs. Kate Bryant of Franklin, Mrs. Ellie Burgess of Hunterdale and Mrs. Maggie Burgess of Courtland; four sons, Roy Coggsdale of Courtland, Luther and Joe Coggsdale both of Franklin, and Willie Coggsdale of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Lula Howell of Suffolk; 25 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a niece. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, and the active pallbearers were Ernest Bryant, Hubert Burgess, Bobbie Coggsdale, Claude Burgess, Russell Coggsdale, Clyde Burgess, Jr., J.E.
