Holland Funeral Home, Franklin, with burial in Poplar Spring Cemetery there. Mr. Coggsdale, 87, a retired farmer, died Tuesday at his home, 2803 Kenwood Ave. ****************************************************************************** JUNIUS WASHINGTON COGGSDALE Junius Washington Coggsdale, 87, a native of Southampton County and for the late four years a resident of Richmond, died Tuesday, February 21 at 4:30 p.m. at the home of a son, Norman Coggsdale, in Richmond after an illness of many months. Mr. Coggsdale, a retired farmer of the Franklin community, was the son of the late Williams and Mrs. Elizabeth Ellis Coggsdale of Southampton County. He was the husband of Mrs. Annie Whitehead Coggsdale of Richmond. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Rosalyn Waller, Mrs. June Carlton and Miss Shirley Coggsdale; two other sons, J.W. Coggsdale and Cecil Coggsdale, and four grandchildren, all of Richmond. Funeral services were conducted today (Thursday) at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the Funeral Home of W.J.M. Holland & Sons by Rev. Stanley C. Burgess of Richmond. Interment was in Poplar Spring Cemetery.
