WILLIAM HENRY COGGSDALE 

FUNERAL OF W.H. COGGSDALE 

  The funeral of Mr. W.H. Coggsdale, who died very suddenly at his residence 
of North Street, took place this evening at 5 o'clock at the residence, being 
conducted by the Rev. Dr. Staley.  Interment was made in Cedar Hill Cemetery. 
He leaves one son - N.A. Coggsdale, of Nebraska.  The pallbearers were Messrs. 
W.A. Howell, W.H. Barnes, B.S. Kilby, B.S. Black, S.J. Carr, Preton Rawles, 
Frank Langston and J.C. Felton. 


William Henry COGGSDALE, retired farmer, Confederate veteran, 
b. Sep 1832, Southampton Co., d. 2 Sep 1904, at home, Suffolk, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block C, Lot 99*), 
"Norfolk (VA) Virginian," Sat., Sep. 3, 1904, p. 5 

*His second & third wives share a twin monument.
