Casion was conducted in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Chapel, Franklin, Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. L.F. Smith of Norfolk, formerly of the South Quay Baptist Church. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Gilbert Porter, Joseph T. Stewart, J.M. Way, Delany Hingerty, Eugene Weeks, W.W. Smith, George Drewry and Luke Gardner, Jr. Mrs. Caison, 59, died Thursday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin, after several weeks of illness. A native of Conway, N.C., she was the wife of Danvis L. Caison and a daughter of Marvin and Mrs. Ellen Moore Conner. She lived here 21 years. She was a member of South Quay Baptist Church. Besides her husband, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Doris C. Squires of Holland; three sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Sessions of Barnwell, S.C., and Mrs. Julia Causey and Mrs. Etta Sellers of Conway, three grandchildren and a great- grandchild.
