Coker, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Dickens near Courtland Saturday morning, March 23, in her 75th year, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Coker was a consistent member of the Courtland Methodist Church and a charter member of the Ladies Aid Society. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Dickens home by her Pastor, Rev. A.W. Roten, and burial was made in Riverside Cemetery. Favored hymns were sung by the choir. The casket was covered with a pall of white carnations and fern. Active pallbearers were: E.F. Babb, F.N. Barker, T.B. Bell, R.G. Edwards, J.E. Whitfield, F.L. Marks, W.B. Barnes, and C.S. Dickens.
