Cutchin of 416 N. High Street, Franklin, died in Raiford Memorial Hospital on Sunday morning, July 3, after a short illness. A member of Hunterdale Christian Church, in which she served for many years, Mrs. Cutchin was the daughter of the late Mills and Ella Drake Beale of Southampton County. Besides her husband she is survived by three brothers, Emmett and Mills Beale of Franklin and Irvin Beale of Richmond; and two sisters, Mrs. Rena Cobb of Sedley and Mrs. Kate Blythe of Franklin. Funeral services were held from the Hunterdale Christian Church on Tuesday afternoon, July 5, at 4:30 o’clock, with Rev. Clyde Fields, pastor of the church and Rev. Melvin Dollar of South Norfolk, a former pastor, officiating. Interment was made in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Luther Barden, Edgar Blythe, Randolph Fowler, Alfred Howell, J.G. Joyner, Shelley M. Joyner, Reggie R. Lankford and George Watkins. Elizabeth (BEALE; Mrs. Joseph R.)
