Cutchin, 64, well-known retired farmer of Frankin, died at his home early Friday morning, July 6, after a heart attack. He was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Bradshaw Cutchin of Southampton County, a member of the Union Christian Church and the Franklin Lodge 51, Knights of Pythias. Mr. Cutchin is survived by one brother, Harvey Cutchin of Franklin, and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Caroon of Franklin and Mrs. Mary Harcum of Portsmouth. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by Rev. Clyde Fields, pastor of Union Christian Church, assisted by Rev. Melvin Dollar of Portsmouth. Interment was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Luther Barden, R.R. Lankford, Shelby Joyner, Rommie Green, Joe Griffin, Randolph Fowler, Edgar Blythe and Alfred Howell. Joseph R.
