Hudgins. W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home was in Charge. Pallbearers were William H. Cutchin, Ernest L. Cutchin, Carlton Cutchin, Adolph Cutchin, Story Cutchin, and Clinton Midkiff. Mrs. Cutchin, 91, of Route 1, the widow of William Leonidas Cutchin and a daughter of James Joseph and Mrs. Jeremina Ashburn, died Thursday morning in Patrick Henry Hospital, Newport News. Born in Oakcrest, her ancestral home on Lees Mill Road, Isle of Wight County, she lived most of her life in her home on Sycamore Farm. She was educated in Norfolk’s Female Seminary and Woman’s College, now Westhampton College, in Richmond. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and its Missionary Society. She was president of Beaver Dam Chapter of United Daughters of the Confederacy. Surviving are a son, Leonidas Cutchin, and a grandson, Leonidas Cutchin Jr., both of Franklin.
