Holland & Sons for Joe C. Cutchin, 55, a well-known farmer of this community, who died Sunday, September 21, after a brief illness. Rev. W.B. Watson, pastor of the Black Creek Baptist Church of which Mr. Cutchin was a member officiate, assisted by Rev. R.D. Stephenson of Cradock. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Mr. Cutchin is survived by four sons, Jack Cutchin, J.C. Cutchin, Jr., Roger Lee Cutchin and Carlton Cutchin, all of Franklin; five daughters, Mrs. Blanche Halderman of Hampton, Mrs. Thelma Williams of Norfolk, and Misses Bernice Cutchin, Ernestine Cutchin and Faye Cutchin, all of Franklin; a brother, Faddie Cutchin of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. W.E. Lowe of Franklin; and two grandchildren.
