CUTCHINS A funeral service for Fadie C. Cutchins was conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Chapel by the Rev. C.L. Gatling of Black Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harvey Cutchins, Roy Edwards, Robert Vaughan, Cecil Porter, Irving Porter, Norman Lankford, Donald Beale and George Hedgepeth. Cutchins, 81, a native of Southampton County and a retired farmer, died Sunday at 8:30 p.m. in Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Mrs. Daisy Hedgepeth Cutchins and a son of Richard and Mrs. Martha Brock Cutchins [sic; Cutchin] of Southampton County. He was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. Besides his widow, surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Violet Parrish of Holland, Mrs. Mary Lee Whitehead and Mrs. Daisy Vann of Franklin and Mrs. Sarah Horak of Richmond; four sons Richard Cutchins, Rochelle Cutchins, Leroy Cutchins and Raymond Cutchins and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Lowe all of Franklin; and 15 grandchildren.
