MARY LOWE CUTCHINS*

   COURTLAND - Funeral services for Mary Lowe Cutchins, 80*, were held 
Thursday at 3 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by Dr. R.E. Brittle. 
Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   Cutchins died Tuesday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.

   She was a native of Southampton County and the widow of Sam Cutchins. 
She was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ.

   Survivors include a daughter, Virginia C. Sykes of Courtland; two 
sisters, Evie Turner of Walters and Mae Joyner of Franklin; and two 
brothers, Fenton Lowe and Harvey Lowe of Franklin.

*Poplar Spring list gives this family as CUTCHIN - not CUTCHINS. 
   Also, the list gives b. 14 Jun 1901, so d. age 79.

However, the 1900 Census (Berlin & Ivor District, ed. 55, p. 6a, ln 40) gives, 
   Mary E., WF 11/12, b. Jun 1899. 
   It is possible her parents, Quinton B. & Rosa V. (DREWRY) LOWE, had another 
   child named Mary.  They are buried in Poplar Spring, Annex 2, Plot 227.
