MINNIE LEE SAUNDERS CUTCHIN

   Mrs. Minnie Saunders Cutchin, 82, a native of Southampton County, 
died Sunday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   She was the widow of Charles J. Cutchin and a daughter of Parker 
and Mrs. Caroline Beale Saunders.  She was a member of the Franklin 
Baptist Church and its Women's Missionary Society.

   She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. R.H. Powell Jr., a son Carlton 
L. Cutchin of Franklin; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.

   Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Poplar Spring 
Cemetery by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins and the Rev. C.J. Brenner.

   the house where he was born, 24 Nov 1888, in Nansemond Co., near Franklin,
