Holland & Sons Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert E. Abbott of Newsoms Methodist Church and the Rev. Ben Farley of Franklin Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Newsoms Cemetery. Pallbearers were Raymond Bryant, Sterling Bryant, Curry Lee Vick, Randolph Fowler, W.J. Fowler, William M. Bradshaw, Delbert Whitehead and McCoy Fowler. Mrs. Cutchins, 73, the wife of Thomas C. Cutchins, died Sunday at 8:30 p.m. in a nursing home. A native of Newsoms, she was a member of Mt. Horeb Methodist Church of Newsoms and its Women’s Missionary Union. Besides her husband, surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Gladys Drewry of Courtland, Mrs. Ruby Flynn of Chesapeake, Mrs. Florrie Harrison of Virginia Beach, Mrs. Dorothy Davis of Stony Creek, Mrs. Nellie Lee of Raleigh, N.C., Mrs. Page Drake of Handsom, and Mrs. Mattie Bradshaw of Carrsville; three sons, Marvin Cutchins, Ray Cutchins of Franklin; and numerous grandchildren.
