NONIE FOWLER CUTCHINS 

   Mrs. Nonie Fowler Cutchins died at her home in the Newsoms community 
Wednesday morning after an illness of only a few days.  Mrs. Cutchins 
was in her 42nd year, the daughter of the late R.T. and Mrs. Anna B. 
Fowler of Newsoms.  She was a consistent member of Mt. Horeb M.E. Church, 
a devoted wife and mother, a kind and generous neighbor.  Besides her 
husband, she is survived by eight children, Mazy Leigh, Jessie, Mary 
Virginia, Katherine, Alice, Marion, Lynwood and Raymond Cutchins; three 
brothers, G.R. Fowler of Newsoms, J.D. Fowler and W.R. Fowler of Franklin, 
and three sisters, Mrs. P.H. Drake and Mrs. C.B. Bryant of Franklin, Mrs. 
Herbert Ellis of Newsoms, and a large family connection.

   Funeral services were conducted from the home yesterday afternoon at 
2:30 o’clock by the Rev. L.E. Dailey, pastor of the Newsoms Baptist 
Church, in the absence of the Rev. R. Harrison Marks.  The body bearers 
were: G.R., J.D. and W.R. Fowler, T.C. Cutchins, C.B. Bryant and P.H. 
Drake.  Interment was made in the Newsoms cemetery.
