COBB COTTON FRANKLIN - Mrs. Rebah Cobb Cotton, 87, of Route 3 died Wednesday in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of Willie O. Cotton and a daughter of William Mills and Mrs. Mary D. Cobb. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and a charter member of its Women’s Missionary Society. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Antoinette McClenny of Virginia Beach; two sons, Russell B Cotton and R. Howard Cotton, two sisters, Mrs. Mae C. Beamon and Mrs. Carrie C. Howell and a brother, Linwood Cotton, all of Franklin; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held today at 4:30 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Jack Luck. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. [Rebah V. (COBB; Mrs. Willie O.)
