Mrs. Cotton, a native of Southampton County, was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church, Franklin. Survivors include her husband, Pat D. Cotton; two daughters, Valentine C. White of Woodland, N.C., and Joyce C. Wynn of Boone, N.C.; a son, Allen Francis Cotton of Franklin; two sisters, Gladys T. Wade of Fredericksburg and Grace T. Burt of Richmond; eight grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Sycamore Baptist Church by the Rev. Reginald Warren. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the church. The family will be at the residence. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is handling arrangements.
