DREWRYVILLE - A graveside funeral service for Joseph James Claud Jr.* was conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in Drewryville Cemetery by the Rev. Charles Spivey. McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, was in charge. Pallbearers were Thornton Thomas, William Partridge, Paul Cobb, Ellis Cobb, Kenneth Francis and Moncure Francis. Claud, 57, died Friday morning in his home. A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Mrs. Susie Ezelle Claud and the late Joseph James Claud Sr.* and the husband of Mrs. Mary Frances Gilliam Claud. He was a service station operator.
