Claud, passed away. "Uncle Robert" was a staunch Methodist and identified himself early in life with the Old Persons Methodist Church and was a consistent and valuable member there for a number of years and served as a Steward. He moved from his farm into Drewryville about 1928 and affiliated with the Drewryville Methodist Church where he remained a faithful member to the end. "Uncle Robert" was of the "Old School," a type that has all but passed away. He had deep convictions in matters of morals and religion and yet was a delightful character, affable in manner, poised in bearing and genial in disposition. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and loved him most. His body was laid to rest in the Drewryville Cemetery Sunday morning at eleven o'clock amid a profusion of flowers and a large group of sorrowing friends. He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Emma Mae Simmons of Drewryville, Mrs. E.K. Price of Lambertville, N.J., Miss Robbie Claud of the Franklin High School faculty, and three grandchildren, Wallace Rob Simmons of V.P.I., Maurice Simmons of Drewryville and Miss Anne Price of Lambertville, N.J.
