All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ CHRISTMAS BELLE BRADSHAW CLAYTON Mrs. Belle Bradshaw Clayton, aged 67 years, a well-known resident of Ivor, died Monday afternoon, April 1, at 1:45 o’clock in the home of her daughter, Mrs. M.D. Hobbs, 1211 Jackson Avenue, South Norfolk, after an illness of several weeks. A daughter of the late David and Mrs. Ella Branch Bradshaw of Southampton County, she had been an active member of the Ivor Baptist Church for many years. Besides Mrs. Hobbs, she is survived by her husband, Allen B. Clayton; two other daughters, Mrs. Archie R. Gardner of Ivor and Mrs. Roger Harrell of Norfolk; a brother, A.R. Bradshaw of San Francisco; a sister, Mrs. Lloyd C. Pulley of Ivor; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the grave in the Ivor cemetery by the Rev. T.N. Tombes, pastor of the Ivor Baptist Church. Active pallbearers were nephews of the deceased. Christmas Belle (BRADSHAW; Mrs. Allen B.)
