Paul Clayton, 79, of Zuni, died in Patrick Henry Hospital Denbeigh, Friday 
night, May 12 after an illness of a year. 

A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Augustus & Mrs Margaret 
Heffington Clayton. 

He was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church adn of Blackwater Masonic 
Lodge, 134.  Surviving are neices and nephews. 

A graveside service was held in Tucker Swamp Church Cemetery May 14 at 4 pm 
by Rev. J.W. Horne, pastor.
