HARVEY LEE COLLINS

   FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Harvey Lee Collins was conducted Sunday 
at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. 
Rudolph Langhon of Portsmouth.  Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park.

   Pallbearers were drivers of the A.F. Comer Transport Co.

   Collins, 47, died Friday in the terminal of A.F. Comer Transport Co., 
Norfolk where he was employed.

   A native of Castalia, N.C., he was a member of Mirical Faith Church.

   He was a son of Andrew Jackson and Mrs. Bertha McGee Collins and the 
husband of Mrs. Gertrude Mears Collins.

   Besides his wife and parents he is survived by one son, Harvey Lee Collins 
of the home; three brothers Grover J. Collins and A.J. Collins of Castalia, 
N.C. and Ray Collins of Lewisburg, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. R.A. Barross of 
Hampton and Mrs. Larry Osborne of Lewisburg, N.C.
