All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ CARL WAYNE CLARY A funeral service for Carl Wayne Clary 18, of Boykins who died Sunday of injuries sustained in an automobile truck collision on Route 195 two miles west of Boykins, was held at graveside in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. The Rev. James T. Campbell officiated. A native of Boykins, he was a son of Hinton Carl Clary of Boykins, and Mrs. Ethel Marie Lewis of Norfolk. He worked as a food handler for White Way Foods of Boykins, and was a member of the Boykins Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers: Steve Delano and W. Michael Clary, both of Boykins; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Edith Arleen Clary, of Roanoke Rapids and [his maternal grandmother] Mrs. L.G. Smith of Cofield, N.C. Pallbearers were: Steve Delano, W. Michael Clary, John Barnes, Larry Gardner, Ralph Turbox, Harry Clary Jr., David L. Barnes, and Jay Beatty. McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, was in charge of arrangements.
