ANNIE HOLLOWAY CLARK

   IVOR - Mrs. Annie Holloway Clark, 78, died Monday in a Williamsburg 
hospital after a long illness.

   She was a native of Southampton County, a daughter of Theopolis E. and 
Mrs. Mollie Bailey Holloway, and the widow of James W. Clark.  She was a 
member of Ivor Methodist Church.

   She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lester H. Pittman and Mrs. Branch 
A. Bailey of Ivor; two sons, Henry B. Clark of Ivor and O. Sam Clark of 
Portsmouth; a stepson, Jim E. Clark of Ivor; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Bowman, 
Mrs. Lelia Bullifant and Mrs. Minnie Barracks of Petersburg; 15 grandchildren 
and 21 great-grandchildren.

   A funeral service was held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Chapel, 
Wakefield, by the Rev. L.T. Bland and the Rev. Byron W. Holloman.  Burial was 
in Ivor Cemetery.
