Della Mae Peden Clark 

  IVOR - Della Mae Peden Clark, 63, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at 
Southampton Memorial Hospital in Franklin.  She was a resident of 
Courtland Healthcare Center and a lifelong resident of Southampton 
County. 

  She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Ritter Peden; her 
husband, William Rossie Clark Jr.; a sister, Lennie Lee Peden; and two 
brothers, Andrew L. Peden and Archer W. "Bean" Peden Jr.  She was a member 
of Millfield Baptist Church of Ivor. 

  Memorial donations may be made to Millfield Baptist Church or Ivor Volunteer 
Rescue Squad. 

  She is survived by her father, Archer W. Peden Sr.; two daughters, Shirley 
C. Gill of Radford and Patricia C. Emmel of Oceanside, Calif.; two brothers, 
Willard L. Peden and Roger Dean Peden, of Smithfield; and four grandchildren. 

  Funeral services were held at Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield on Sunday, 
Feb. 10, with the Rev. Ira Hudgins officiating.  Burial was in Ivor Cemetery.

  Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield handled the arrangements.
