Robert K. Wilson and the Rev. Dallas Stallings. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sol Rawls Jr., Robert Ray, Jack Ray, Toy Savage, J.L. Camp III, Paul Marks, Robert Marks, and P.D. Camp III. Mrs. Camp, 76, widow of John Madison Camp, died Thursday morning in a Richmond hospital. A native of Arkansas, she lived in Franklin 52 years. She was a daughter of Bayless Wesley and Mrs. Olive Buckley Webb of Ozark, Ark. She is survived by a son, John M. Camp, Jr. of Franklin; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Lee Smith, Jr. of Raleigh and Mrs. Lawrence McNeill Johnson of Aberdeen, N.C.; a brother, the Rev. Perry F. Webb of Little Rock, Ark.; and a sister, Mrs. G. Westbrook Murphy of Asheville, N.C. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and Franklin Book Club. She was active in civic affairs and aided in the history of her adopted state by publishing memoirs of local people.
