CAMP Mrs. Camp, widow of the late lamented W.N. Camp, died at her home in the southeastern part of the city yesterday morning. Mrs. Camp had been in feeble health ever since Mr. Camp's death some months ago. Last week, she began to fail rapidly, and tho' she rallied once or twice, her family could not help seeing the end was near. Present with her when she passed away were all the members of the family except Mrs. E.F. Fitch of Chicago, who was unable to arrive in time to attend her mother's last hours. Mrs. Camp was a Virginian, and made her home in Florida with her husband and children a score of years or more ago. She had been a resident of Ocala the last ten years and had greatly endeared herself to her neighbors. Among the Camp homes clustered together on the heights, she reigned a queen mother, governing by love and wise counsel. Brave and cheerful in her sufferings, she sank at the last into her everlasting rest, leaving a vacant place in home and church and the hearts of her friends that time may conceal but can never fill. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at the residence. Rev. L.B. Warren, formerly Mrs. Camp's pastor, will officiate. The pall bearers are Messrs. R.L. Anderson, B.A. Burford, J.R. Williams, L.R. Chazal, C.S. Cullen, Frank Drake, George Ford and M.J. Roess. The remains will be laid to rest in Greenwood, beside Mr. Camp, who preceded his wife only a few months ago. McIver & McKay have charge. All our people, and many elsewhere, wherever the Camp family is known, deeply regret the death of this good lady and sympathize with the children and grandchildren doubly bereft in a few short months.
