Cones, 45 of Franklin, who was killed in an accident near Circleville, Ohio, Wednesday night. His tractor-trailer crashed into a stalled car on four lane U.S. 23 according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Also killed in the accident were two person sitting in the car, Charles Peyton, 24 and Roxie, 65, both of Mallory W.Va. Ralph Baker, the driver of the car, was standing on the highway attempting to flag down the truck when the accident occurred. He was taken to a hospital for examination but apparently was not hurt seriously, the patrol said. The patrol said the truck literally rolled over the top of the car and then overturned in the ditch. The victims in the car apparently had been in Columbus visiting relatives. The patrol said the refrigerated truck apparently was loaded with meat. It is owned by the Bonney Motor Express, Inc., Norfolk, Va. Cones, 45, of Beale's Corner, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bernice Duke Cones of Beale's Corner, a daughter, Diane Cones of the home, his mother, Mrs. J.B. Cones and a sister, Mrs. Ryland Carr of Carrsville. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, Jr., of Beaver Dam Baptist Church were at W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home Saturday at 2:30. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery.
