JUDSON DELBERT COUNCIL 

Ivor - Judson D. Council, 58, died Tuesday in a Lynchburg hospital. 

A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Samuel D. and Mrs. Sallie J. 
Council and the husband of Mrs. Ethel Council. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Edgar Felts and Mrs. 
Mable Wellons of Ivor, and Mrs. Louise Atkinson of Newport News. 

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 4 pm in Council family cemetery 
near Ivor by the Rev. Brian L. Tiffany.  Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, 
has charge. 


Judson Delbert COUNCIL, 
Southampton Co. native, d. 24 Jun 1973, Lynchburg, age 58, 
interred in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery*, 26 Jun 1973, 
donated obit, no paper listed, hand written "Buried 6-28-73"
