A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of Junius and Mrs. Mary Eliza Davis Camp and the widow of E.A. Councill. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Sunday at 3 p.m. in Black Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. C.L. Gatling. Burial was in Camp family cemetery near Black Creek. The body was taken from W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home to the church at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers were A.W. Bowden, Bobby Stephens, A.C. Carr, William Vaughan Jr., Roland Whitley, E.A. Drewry, J.K. Pond Jr., and Edwin Joyner. Honorary pallbearers were the Men’s Bible Class of Black Creek Baptist Church. Lizzie Wills (CAMP; Mrs. Ernest A.
