MARJORIE SUE PARKER CANADY

   FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Marjorie Parker Canady was held at 2:30 
p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Franklin Baptist Church by the Rev. Ira D. 
Hudgins.  Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, with Wright Funeral Home in 
charge.

   Mrs. Canady died Tuesday in a hospital.

   A native of the Somerton and the widow of Thomas H. Canady, she was a 
member of Franklin Baptist Church, its King’s Servant Bible Class, Women’s 
Missionary Union and Lytle Circle, and High Street Senior Citizens.

   Survivors include a son, Thomas Howard Canady of Burke; a sister, Mildred 
T. Patton of Miami; two brothers, Gilbert H. Parker of Petersburg and Thomas 
L. Parker of Cameron, W. Va.; and a granddaughter, Mrs. Kelsey C. Bennett of 
Pittsburg, Pa.
