Ira D. Hudgins. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, with Wright Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Canady died Tuesday in a hospital. A native of the Somerton and the widow of Thomas H. Canady, she was a member of Franklin Baptist Church, its King’s Servant Bible Class, Women’s Missionary Union and Lytle Circle, and High Street Senior Citizens. Survivors include a son, Thomas Howard Canady of Burke; a sister, Mildred T. Patton of Miami; two brothers, Gilbert H. Parker of Petersburg and Thomas L. Parker of Cameron, W. Va.; and a granddaughter, Mrs. Kelsey C. Bennett of Pittsburg, Pa.
