Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Carr died Tuesday night in her home. She was a native of Nansemond County and the widow of Crawley Cecil Carr. She was a member of Boaz Presbyterian Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Holland of Norfolk, Mrs. Thelma Stevenson of Suffolk, Mrs. Barbara Cutchins and Mrs. Carolyn Allmond of Franklin; four sons, J.J. Carr, Louis C. Carr and Marvin Bennie Carr of Suffolk and Cecil M. Carr of Franklin; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
