Carr, sister HOLLAND CARR, in the ninety fifth year of her age. She was baptized by Elder Robert T. Daniel and joined Black Creek Church, in Southampton County, about 1827. In 1828, she was one of the twenty four that entered into the organization of Beaver Dam Church, in Isle of Wight. Here she remained a faithful member till her death - a period of fifty seven years. Only two of her six children are now living - James A. Carr and Mills Carr. In her last days, she wished her brethren and sisters in the church to come and talk with her. Though she could not enjoy the presence of her brethren and sisters as she wished, we feel sure she now enjoys the presence of Jesus. Her funeral services were conducted by the writer. BY: J.A.
