She was the wife of John A. Carr and a daughter of John B. and Mrs. Roxanna W. Worrell of Southampton County. She was a member of Mt. Horeb Methodist Church. Besides her widower, surviving is a brother, John Worrell of Handsom, two step-children, two grandchildren, two nieces and two great nephews. A funeral service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Mt. Horeb Church by the Rev. B.W. Coe. Burial was in Newsoms Cemetery. Pallbearers were E.E. Drake, J.C. Story, Henry Fowler, Harry Fowler, Walter Bishop, Lee Raiford, Thomas Bowles and Carl Scott.
