A native of Elwood Nansemond County and the widow of William Joseph Cross. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church. Among the survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Olive Cross Gadberry of Franklin; one sister, Mrs. P.R. Clark of Jarratt; one brother, J.O. Cutchin Sr. of Holland, Va. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24, 1977 at 4 p.m. The graveside, Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin. Wright Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Rachel (CUTCHIN; Mrs. William J.)
