NANCY MASON CRICHTON

Nancy Mason Crichton, 57, widow of Winfield Crichton, died Sunday, January 11, 
1976 in Norfolk General Hospital.  A native of Maryland, she made her home in 
the Capron area for over 36 years.  She was a member of the Capron United 
Methodist Church and the WSCS.  She is survived by her father, Fred B. Mason; 
four daughters, Mrs. Jane C. Futrell of Courtland, Mrs. Nancy C. Cox, Mrs. 
Mary C. Detwiler, and Miss Susan E. Crichton, all of Capron; two sisters, Mrs. 
Grace M. Duval and Mrs. Flora M. Tyndall, both of Va. Beach; six 
grandchildren.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 2:30 P.M. in the 
Capron Cemetery by the Rev. Robert E. Murphy and C.B. King.  The body will 
rest at W.J.M. Holland and Son Funeral Home, Franklin.  The family suggest 
that memorials take the form of donations to the Capron Rescue Squad.
